Common Mistakes
Do not repeat 虽然 in both clauses. The concession (虽然) comes first; the contrast (但) comes second.
而且 (moreover) adds information in the same direction. 虽然 requires a CONTRASTING connector: 但是, 可是, 却, or 不过.
