3. Local Storage & IndexedDB
Mandarin Temple uses browser local storage and IndexedDB (via Dexie) to support offline functionality. This includes:
- Study progress and checkpoint data
- Cached dictionary entries for offline access
- Spaced repetition card states
- Onboarding profile and schedule
This data stays on your device and is synced to our servers only when you are logged in.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We may use cookies from:
- Google Fonts — to load typefaces (Noto Sans SC, Quicksand, Playfair Display)
- Stripe — for payment processing (only on checkout pages)
We do not use advertising trackers or social media pixels.
