Two tiers, both including your own Pro Plus learning, and one thing that is worth being clear about before you subscribe: you are not paying for your learners. This article is what each tier costs, what the limits are, and who pays for what.
The two tiers
- Tutor — $39/month or $390/year — Full Pro Plus learner access, the teacher dashboard, assignable lessons and homework, up to 50 students, progress tracking and reports.
- Tutor Plus — $69/month or $690/year — Everything above, up to 200 students, multiple classes and student groups, class content tools, and advanced reporting and analytics.
Yearly is ten months for twelve on both tiers, the same ratio as every other plan here.
Who pays for your learners
They do, or nobody does. A free account is enough to join your circle, receive assignments and complete them — what their own plan decides is how much of the *content* they can open.
You are not billed for their access, and you cannot buy it for them. Their subscription, their credits, their account.
What the student limit counts
Learners, not circles. Fifty on Tutor across as many circles as you like; two hundred on Tutor Plus.
Pending invitations do not count. Removing a learner frees the place immediately, and they keep everything they did — their progress belongs to their account rather than to your circle.
Trials, switching and cancelling
- Upgrading — Tutor to Tutor Plus grants the higher student cap and the extra reporting immediately.
- Downgrading — Works, but you need to be under the lower cap first. Two hundred learners will not fit into fifty places.
- Cancelling — Your circles and their history remain; the teaching tools re-lock at the end of the paid period, and your own account reverts to free.
- Your learners are unaffected — They keep their accounts, their progress and their own subscriptions whatever you do with yours.
Payment
Through Stripe. Card details go to them and never reach our servers. Invoices, receipts and the card on file are managed from the billing area of your account.
