The most famous legend about Mozi describes his walk of ten days and ten nights to the state of Chu, where he defeated the master siege engineer Gongshu Ban in a simulated siege using belt buckles and wooden sticks as models, persuading the king of Chu to abandon his planned invasion of the state of Song.
