Not what you were looking for?

Five kinds of account, priced for five different situations. The thing that makes this simpler than it looks: every plan is a content subscription plus a monthly credit allowance, and those two are the only axes. This article lays them side by side.

Learning on your own

  • Free — $0The whole dictionary, grammar, culture and learning materials. The opening and podcast of every lesson. Mock Test 1 of each level. A one-time grant of about 200 credits to try the AI with.
  • Pro — $19/month, or $190/yearEvery HSK 1–9 lesson in full, unit exams, all the mock tests, spaced-repetition flashcards, the speaking studio and pronunciation trainer, and 3,000 credits a month. The yearly price is two months free.
  • Pro Plus — $34/monthEverything in Pro, the six advanced specialised modules, priority generation, and 12,000 credits a month — four times the Pro allowance.

For a family

Family — $49/month, or $490/year. Pro Plus access for up to two children, a parent dashboard with weekly reports, the ability to assign practice and follow streaks, and one bill instead of several.

Compared with buying two Pro Plus accounts at $68, the saving is real but the oversight is the actual reason to take it.

Two pricing cards under the heading “For Parents 家长” and the line “the parent account is always free”. The left card, “One Child”, reads From $19/mo with the note “Pro ($19) or Pro Plus ($34) on their own account” and an Add a Learner Plan button; its points are full HSK 1–9 lessons for your child, AI speaking, tutor chat and practice with credits included, Pro at $19/mo or Pro Plus at $34/mo for the advanced modules, and keeping the free parent dashboard alongside. The right card is outlined in red, tagged RECOMMENDED and “best for 2+ kids”, and reads Family, $49/mo, “Up to 2 children · $89/mo for up to 4”, with a Start a Family Plan button and points for Pro Plus access for every child on one household bill, up to 2 children for $49/mo or up to 4 for $89/mo, a parent dashboard with weekly reports, and assigning practice and following streaks for each child. A “See full Parents pricing” link sits underneath.
One child does not need the bundle: the left card is an ordinary Pro or Pro Plus plan on the child’s own account, and the parent dashboard stays free on both paths. The Family card also points at a second tier, Family Plus — $89/mo, or $890/yr, for up to four children.

If you teach

  • Tutor — $39/month, $390/yearFull Pro Plus learner access for yourself, the teacher dashboard, assignable HSK lessons and homework, up to 50 students, and progress tracking.
  • Tutor Plus — $69/month, $690/yearEverything in Tutor, up to 200 students, multiple classes, class tools and content assignment, and advanced reporting.

For a school

  • Starter — $199/month, $1,990/year1 admin plus 5 teacher seats, up to 150 students, bulk import, cross-teacher analytics. For small centres.
  • Growth — $349/month, $3,490/year1 admin plus 10 teachers, up to 350 students, branded join links, priority support.
  • Scale — $699/month, $6,990/year2–3 admin accounts, 25 teacher seats, up to 1,000 students, everything in Growth.
  • Enterprise — talk to usMulti-campus, custom volume, custom onboarding, reporting and a support SLA.

What none of them do

No plan has a per-day, per-week or per-session cap. There is no "30 conversations a day", no weekly quota and no throttle. The only limit on AI use is the credit allowance, and how fast you spend it is your business.

Equally, no plan limits how much you read. Lessons, entries, grammar points and passages are unmetered on every tier including free.

Which one

  • Just lookingFree. It is not a trial — the reference half of the site stays open permanently.
  • Studying seriously, alonePro. Go Pro Plus only if you want the six specialist modules or find 3,000 credits a month tight.
  • Two children in one houseFamily, at $49 rather than two Pro Plus accounts at $68.
  • Teaching up to 50 peopleTutor at $39 — which includes your own Pro Plus learning.
  • A school with staffStart at the tier that fits your student count; seats and limits are the axis, not features.

Common questions

No. The dictionary, grammar, culture and learning materials stay free permanently, as does the opening of every lesson. Only the credit grant is one-time.
