A working implementation, not a mockup

An independently developed digital implementation of the legacy Singapore P3 Chinese sequence. It combines published character-list mapping, a seven-step guided pupil pathway, a complete teacher-resource view, and shared progress tracking.
Not developed, approved or endorsed by Singapore MOE. Based on the legacy 2015 Primary Chinese sequence.
This implementation has not yet been externally validated. We are requesting a critical review of its language accuracy, curriculum mapping, age appropriateness, instructional design, differentiation and assessment. We welcome corrections and substantial recommendations. This is not an endorsement request.
Recommended review sequence
- 1 Open Lesson 1 in Guided mode (the pupil experience).
- 2 Open the same lesson in Teacher view (the full reference).
- 3 Review its character & curriculum evidence (the panel on each row).
- 4 Inspect one additional lesson for consistency.
- 5 Submit section-specific feedback.
What's under the hood
The parts an evaluator can't see from a single screen — stated so they can be verified.
Published character-list mapping
Every character is tagged by source level, semester, recognition status, writing status and first scheduled appearance, against the publicly published legacy character lists.
识读 vs 识写, enforced
Recognition-only characters cannot be assigned as independent handwriting targets. Writing characters are checked against cumulative grade + semester progression by an automated audit.
Seven-step guided pathway
Think → Listen → Discover → Learn → Practise → Communicate → Check. Each guided lesson reveals only the material needed at the current stage.
Teacher-resource + pupil-guided modes
Teacher view is a complete reference (not meant to be read top-to-bottom); guided mode is the default independent pupil experience. Both share the same content and progress records.
Shared progress & mastery
Section-level checkpoints and XP are identical across both modes. Mastery currently reflects engagement + quiz accuracy; oral/writing/teacher-judgement signals are supplements, not replacements.
Values & assessment foundations
Activities integrate Singapore-relevant values, oral communication, reading and formative checks. Upper-primary PSLE mapping will be developed and validated separately.
Legacy P1–P6 curriculum map & implementation status
Live fully implemented & reviewable · Mapped source structure, lessons & language items indexed. The remaining semesters are intended to use the same reviewed content model and production workflow.

Open each in Teacher view or Guided mode, and expand Alignment evidence to check the claims. "Live" means implemented — not yet externally validated.

Current limitations
- The live implementation presently covers P3A only.
- It has not yet been tested with a Singapore pupil cohort.
- Alignment is internally mapped and awaits external educator review.
- Automated oral/mastery indicators supplement rather than replace teacher judgement.
- The demo is based on the legacy 2015 sequence, not the current 《欢乐伙伴2.0》 P3 curriculum.
